Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking an IAM Security Engineer - GCP to join their team. As an IAM Security Engineer - GCP , you will be part of the security team supporting various initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: on site 3 days a week in Rockville, Maryland
Pay Range: 71.00
What's the Job?
Help design, implement, and maintain permissions within Google Cloud Platform and related IAM components, including federated identity providers and multi-factor authentication. Monitor IAM activities in Google Cloud Platform, analyze security logs, and investigate security incidents to detect and mitigate potential threats. Define and enforce access control policies and entitlements across GCP resources, ensuring adherence to least privilege principles. Establish federated identity relationships with external identity providers to enable single sign-on and seamless access to resources. Develop scripts and automation workflows to streamline IAM processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual intervention. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus. 5+ years of experience in security engineering, IAM, or a related field. Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform services and their permissions schema with IAM/PAM. Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation of IAM tasks. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. What's in it for me?
