Mechanical Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer (P.E.) to join our engineering consulting firm in San Antonio, TX. The successful candidate will have strong experience in HVAC and piping design, proficiency in Revit, and excellent communication skills. The Mechanical Engineer – MEP Design P.E. will lead the mechanical design of HVAC, chilled water, hot water, and piping systems for commercial and institutional buildings, ensuring designs meet all applicable codes and standards. Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities Lead the mechanical design of HVAC, chilled water, hot water, and piping systems for commercial and institutional buildings Prepare construction documents, technical specifications, and system layouts using Revit Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines throughout the design process Review shop drawings, conduct site visits, and assist during construction administration Ensure designs meet all applicable codes and standards, including ASHRAE, IMC, and local Texas codes Mechanical Engineer Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Active P.E. license in Texas 5+ years of experience in mechanical system design for building projects Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD Strong understanding of HVAC and piping system layouts, load calculations, and energy efficiency principles Excellent communication and coordination skills #LI-Onsite
