Tesla Energy Products bring battery and solar solutions to the grid, enabling the transformation of the world’s energy infrastructure with products such as Megapack and V4 Supercharger. As part of the Wiring Harness Design team, you will design, package, and manufacture world-class, integrated wiring systems that support this transformation. What You'll Do
Rapidly gather requirements, design, and modify detailed harness schematics to integrate various electromechanical components and control units.
Select and validate harness components for prototype applications.
Document build instructions for complex industrial wire harnesses.
Troubleshoot and perform quality checks on harnesses during fabrication, assembly, and testing stages.
Support the bring-up and debugging process of industrial equipment throughout its lifecycle.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
At least 1 year of experience in wiring harness design.
Hands-on experience designing and building electro-mechanical systems and harnesses.
Solid engineering fundamentals: DC/AC circuit analysis, analog and digital signal processing, communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), LV/HV systems.
Understanding of vehicle-level systems engineering, including communications, functionality trade-offs, grounding, creepage and clearance, EMC strategies.
Proficiency with 3D CAD and PLM software (preferably CATIA).
Proven skills in 2D drawing creation software.
Familiarity with mechanical systems such as thermal management, vibration, durability, and corrosion prevention.

Expected compensation ranges from $100,160 to $323,280 annually, plus bonuses and stock awards. Actual pay may vary based on experience, location, and other factors.
