Akkodis is seeking a Hardware Validation Engineer for a contract job with a client in Irvine, CA. Candidates must have hands-on experience in automotive mechatronic system validation, including test planning, execution, and data analysis.

Rate Range: $50/hour to 55/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Hardware Validation Engineer job responsibilities include:

Develop and execute validation plans for automotive mechatronic systems and components, ensuring compliance with design and performance requirements. Create detailed test specifications and update plans based on DFMEA reviews and evolving design controls. Perform hands-on validation testing using lab equipment, data acquisition systems, and embedded platforms like Arduino or Raspberry Pi. Analyze test data using tools such as MATLAB, Python, or Diadem to identify performance metrics, deviations, and potential failures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure test procedures meet company standards and project timelines. Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, tools, and documentation practices to enhance validation efficiency and accuracy. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or a related field). Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive hardware testing and validation. Proficiency in data analysis using MATLAB, Python, or Diadem. Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
