Now the team Triton Robotics at Neptune is building something truly unique: a fully flexible medical robot that enables doctors to reach deep into human anatomy. TITLE: Hardware Design Engineer II/Senior, Accessories

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the lead designer for the fluidics and drapes, you will fill a critical role on the Hardware Team. Joining a talented team of engineers, you will be responsible for two critical aspects of our groundbreaking flexible endoscopy robotic platform, both which require a delicate balance of design ingenuity, performance, and cost tradeoff. You will work closely with other design engineers to architect and integrate the fluidics lines - determining material selection, placement, lengths and other attributes to ensure performant design that meets cost targets. You'll be responsible for considering how strategically placed drapes can prevent contamination of the system components while keeping workflow and usability at the front of your mind. You'll define hardware requirements based on evidence and prototype design concepts garnering feedback via test and clinically relevant evaluation. You'll drive prototypes into verification ready designs, including packaging, labeling, and sterilization, to complete product verification, and transfer designs to manufacturing for production.

Neptune Medical is located in Burlingame, CA, near the Millbrae Caltrain and BART station.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this role is between $125,000 and $170,000 depending on experience. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity, benefits, and 401(K) with matching.
