Required Skills & Qualifications
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience
3-5 years of game development experience
Proficiency in C# or TypeScript
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and adaptability skills
Experience with all phases of product development lifecycle
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Working knowledge of 3D math
Experience with version control and build systems
Background in animation tooling and 3D modeling
Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, or NavMesh systems
Familiarity with AI navigation, Recast/Detour, or game AI techniques
Proficiency in 3D animation tools such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Create and develop NPC tools to demonstrate behaviors in Horizon Worlds
Develop simple and complex examples for creator samples and AI training
Collaborate with team members to enhance product features and performance
Write clean, encapsulated, testable, and well-documented code
