We are currently seeking a professional for a W2 contract opportunity in Livonia, MI. This role has the potential to extend over multiple years, with the chance to transition to a direct hire position with our client. FCSD Tech delivers world-class software that our: Dealers use to Diagnose, Repair & Service our vehicles Customers use for a seamless Service experience Client's enterprise uses to run a highly Profitable, Critical and Complex Parts & Service business FCSD is a true one-stop shop, offering comprehensive Diagnostics, Repair & Service Capabilities for a full portfolio of Electrified, Hybrid, and Internal combustion vehicles globally. FCSD Tech is looking for Software Engineers that embrace Agile Programming principles to deliver innovative software products for the Client and our Dealers and Customers.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent 4 years experience in mainframe development background in design, analysis, and coding: COBOL (IMS), JCL, CA7, DB2 and/or SQL, Teradata, and real-time and batch processing 1 year experience implementing z/OS connect, SFTP, SOAP and REST APIs, and other methods for system-to-system communication and data exchange Ability to design, develop and maintain Mainframe COBOL & JCL to meet support and/or project requirements Experience using source code management tools such as Endevor and GitHub Quick starter to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support items Ability to perform application support tasks: systems support, security/audit reviews, and maintenance tasks Excellent teamwork, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills are essential, ability to solve complex problems in a global environment Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize work based on business impact and urgency Unit and integration testing experience Ability to work independently and take initiative when solving unexpected problems Skills Required Mainframe DB COBOL Mainframe Systems Job Control Language (JCL) Experience Required Senior Engineer Exp: Practical experience in 2 coding languages or advanced practice in 1 language; guides 10 years in IT 8 years in development Education Required Bachelor's Degree
