Role: FPGA Design EngineerClient: Defense-AerospaceSalary: up to $74/hr W2, non-benefited Length: Long-term Location: Dedham, MAClearance: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire Responsibilities: -Design and implement cutting-edge FPGA solutions, achieving closure on complex designs while meeting performance, area, and power requirements.-Integrate and close timing on designs involving embedded hard and soft processors, as well as commercial and custom IP blocks.-Support hardware/software integration and assist development teams in testing and validating FPGA designs.-Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to gather, define, and refine FPGA design specifications.-Contribute to the design and production of both low- and high-volume products.-Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Required Experience:-Experience with Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC or similar FPGA platforms.-Proficiency in Vivado or equivalent FPGA development tools.-Knowledge of VHDL or similar hardware description languages.-Demonstrated ability to work through the complete FPGA design flow from specification to implementation and testing. Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
