With over 30 years in the market and recent revenue growth, the company is expanding into multiple new states and investing heavily in building strong, high-performing field teams.

About the Role
This is a hands-on, field-focused role where you’ll lead the development and execution of structured training programs across landscape construction and maintenance teams.
This role is first and foremost a trainer and developer of people . You’ll work directly with crews in the field, helping elevate skill sets, improve performance, and develop Crew Members into future Crew Leaders.
You’ll be responsible for building scalable, repeatable training programs that improve onboarding, reduce ramp time, and drive consistency across multiple locations.
While safety is part of the role, it is integrated through training , with the goal of building a strong, sustainable safety culture across the organization.
What You’ll Be Doing
Build and implement structured training programs for field teams
Develop onboarding programs that improve new hire ramp time and retention
Train crews hands-on across:
Softscapes
Hardscapes
Irrigation installation
Routine maintenance
Spend significant time in the field coaching crews and reinforcing best practices
Identify skill gaps and partner with leadership to improve execution
Standardize training processes across crews, regions, and job sites
Deliver ongoing safety training (weekly/monthly cadence) aligned with OSHA standards
Support the development of Crew Members into Crew Leaders
Help scale training programs across multiple states as the company grows
What They’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in commercial landscape construction
Hands-on expertise in softscapes, hardscapes, and irrigation
Experience training crews or building onboarding/training programs
Strong field leadership and ability to influence teams on the ground
Solid understanding of safety practices and OSHA standards
Comfortable working in the field and traveling (~15–25%)
Builder mindset — someone who can create structure in a growing environment

Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $90K–$115K (flexible based on experience)
Bonus: 10–15% performance-based
