ECI has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, personable, and qualified Field Service Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will provide end-user desktop support to users working with Windows, Exchange, and Office 365 environments.
The Field Services Engineer will handle desktop support and end-user server administration for client issues, responding to Level 1 and 2 service tickets. You will collaborate with a team and escalate issues as needed, also contacting third-party vendors for warranty repairs.
This is an onsite role based in San Francisco, CA .
Responsibilities:
Resolve Level 1 and 2 support cases related to end-user issues, infrastructure, and projects.
Manage client expectations throughout troubleshooting.
Address incidents involving Mail/Office 365, connectivity, VIP workstations, file restores, remote access, password resets, and network printers.
Perform system maintenance, including patching and updates.
Support Active Directory tasks such as user management, password resets, and Group Policy.
Use support tools like RMM and MDM for device management.
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
5-8 years of experience in technical, cloud, or systems engineering roles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong documentation and quick learning ability.
Ability to explain technical concepts simply.
Self-motivated and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Client service orientation.
Basic knowledge of the financial industry.
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
Deep understanding of Microsoft Cloud (Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Azure AD), networking, server hardware, and remote access technologies.
