Field Project Engineer (Level 2.5) – Company Car + Fast-Track to Leadership ($85K)
We’re a rapidly growing cloud and managed services provider specializing in healthcare IT, and we’re expanding in Birmingham, Alabama and across the Southeast. We’ve recently landed a 25-location client and are building out the team to support that growth.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you’ll own one major client environment across multiple offices. You’ll split your time between hands‑on deployments and advanced support, with a clear path to move into a Service Manager / leadership role within 6–12 months.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support and deploy IT infrastructure across multiple client locations (Birmingham area)
- Work with Microsoft 365, Dell servers, and hybrid environments
- Handle light networking (FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, UniFi switching/APs)
- Partner with remote Tier 2/3 teams on escalations and projects
- Own documentation, client communication, and project execution
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Experience in an MSP or multi‑client environment
- Strong Microsoft 365 and Windows Server fundamentals
- Comfortable with networking basics (firewalls, VPNs, switching)
- Able to handle both projects + escalations (Level 2.5 skillset)
- Strong communication skills working directly with clients
