Position Overview: Civilitude's Field Engineer role is responsible for implementing sidewalks, bikeways, and urban trails through the preparation of schematic plans, cost estimates, general permits, traffic control permits, and most importantly, field engineering of accessible sidewalks, ramps, crosswalks, driveway crossings in compliance with ADA/TAS/PROWAG. This position is ideal for engineers who want to experience the real-world application of civil engineering concepts in the field. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior engineers, general contractors, city project managers, and inspectors. Individuals who excel in this position are 3d visualizers, and detail-oriented problem solvers who enjoy collaboration and are eager to engage in fieldwork.
