Position Summary
The Facilities Engineer is responsible for the strategic oversight, design, and continuous improvement of critical facility systems that support laboratory research and operational activities. This includes high-performance HVAC systems, laboratory environments, and utilities infrastructure to ensure compliance with industry standards such as GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations. This individual will lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize system performance, implement energy-efficient solutions, and minimize downtime to maintain high-quality laboratory processes in a highly regulated environment. Additionally, the Facilities Engineer will collaborate with Facility leadership to support all internal and external audits, ensuring continued compliance and operational excellence.

The Facilities Engineer leverages technical expertise while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, project managers, and research scientists, to meet the evolving needs of the facility. This role leads to the successful execution of projects such as system upgrades, facility expansions, and the construction of new buildings. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and dedication to maintaining safety and operational excellence are essential.
