The candidate would be expected to manage water infrastructure and ecosystem engineering design and construction projects from conceptual design through completion and implementation. This includes developing designs for and managing staff performing multiple habitat restoration, fish passage, and general river, wetland, and watershed-related projects. This role will initially be remote due to A-T-S’ response to COVID with future options to transition to either full time or part time office-based work schedule in San Francisco, California. Required skills/attributes: Ability to manage water infrastructure and water resources engineering design and construction projects from conceptual design through completion 3-5 years of experience performing engineering project management duties: preparing cost estimates and scopes of work; preparing construction plans and specifications; preparing and monitoring project schedules and budgets; monitoring work in progress Experience with Water Quality Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar CAD software Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering Registered Civil/Environmental Engineer in California (preferred) Strong client management and communication Data collection, processing, and analysis design Management of production of deliverables and data products A collaborative and respectful social attitude Desired skills/attributes: Experience with HEC-RAS or similar hydraulic modeling software Knowledge of ArcGIS Pro or similar GIS software Experience with R California Professional Engineer License (PE) Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Engineering and Information Technology
