Peerless Pump, a subsidiary of Grundfos, is seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Application Engineer to become part of our IND BO AE Team in Indianapolis.
The Entry-Level Application Engineer is responsible for providing exceptional technical support and quotations to ensure our solutions meet customer expectations. Your role will involve collaboration and communication with business partners, internal teams, and suppliers while adhering to company policies.
Note: Relocation support is not available, and candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
The salary range for this position is $58,400-$87,325, with compensation determined by market location and individual qualifications.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Review product specifications to identify technical requirements including selection, sizing, costing, and pricing.
Communicate with suppliers for prices, delivery timelines, and technical details.
Produce clear work instructions related to customer requirements and production improvements.
Document pricing and delivery schedules for Project Management.
Conduct project reviews to identify margin erosion and improvements.
Support continuous improvement and maximize efficiency in our processes.
Communicate effectively with team members, emphasizing Peerless values, and prioritizing safety and quality.
Advocate for customers' needs within the organization.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Work Relations:
This position reports to the IND BO AE Team Lead and collaborates with the Applications Engineer team, providing invaluable technical and pricing support.
What You Need to Apply:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or business with relevant experience in technical sales and manufacturing.
Preferred experience in Engineering, Project Management, or Sales within a manufacturing context.
Key Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an eye for detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, SAP, and CRM systems.
Solid understanding of pumps, construction, hydraulics, and rotating equipment.
A proactive approach to meeting customer needs and commitments.
