We are seeking a passionate and motivated Enterprise Network Services Engineer to provide vital network support for Medical Treatment Facilities in the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Enterprise globally. This position offers the flexibility of remote work. Your Responsibilities: Collaborate with on-site personnel and fellow network specialists to effectively troubleshoot network issues. Maintain connectivity for DHA hospitals while engaging with internal and external customers on a daily basis. Troubleshoot network security solutions related to routing, load balancing, and application delivery. Work cohesively in a team environment, providing insights on troubleshooting, device configuration, and documentation. Resolve issues promptly involving a variety of network devices, including Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco routers/switches, and F5 load balancers. Qualifications: Active Secret level Security Clearance from the Department of Defense (DoD). 6-9+ years of relevant experience supporting WAN/LAN technologies and Routing Protocols. Strong proficiency with Cisco Routers/Switches, Palo Alto Firewalls, and F5 devices. Experience in using automation and scripting to enhance manual processes. Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, and subnetting. Ability to work well under pressure combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with network protocols and services, including: Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP) Access Control Lists Layer 2 Switching Spanning Tree Packet Analysis Certifications such as Security+ CE, CCNP Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SCCP are advantageous. Cisco (CCNA or CCNP) or F5 OS Certification is a plus. Preferred: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
