Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value. The application development and maintenance team performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organizations software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This role programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organizations internal needs and externally-facing business needs.

This position is part of the SAP Basis team whose objective and responsibility is to support the SAP landscape and its core functionalities. Apart from day to day support, the person will be part of the core team to enhance and implement new functionalities of SAP systems that covers wide spectrum of SAP best practices and methodologies to continuously improve operations of our IT business solution. This is a technical hands on role with experience handling SAP projects and partnered with other teams to support non SAP interfaces.

Demonstrates and applies technical knowledge of software development frameworks and business process configuration systems. Leverages fluency in technical languages, operating systems, application programming interfaces, and troubleshooting. Demonstrates knowledge of software development life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents. Demonstrates basic knowledge of infrastructure subcomponents and interoperability including SAN, network (application routing) and compute platforms. Demonstrates knowledge of system information dependencies and end to end application transaction competency. Maintains platform or system health and availability requirements including HADR testing. Resolves support issues involving production systems. Partners with Enterprise Architecture teams for product selection and product capability roadmaps and information governance processes. Monitors and manages proactive maintenance to application platform environments; documents and manages SOPs for software and information platform systems. Interfaces with business solution teams and partners on operational platform events as well as solution design needs.

Lead and perform technical hands on projects related to SAP upgrade, implementation, Enhancements including SAP applications (ERP 6.0, S42021 Hana, Fiori, CRM, SCM, Portal, PO,BI, Netweaver, SLT, SideCar). Daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and tuning of a complex SAP production environment. Analyzes production and test system problems, determines causes and takes timely corrective action. Works with the Unix/Linux/Windows Administrator on capacity planning and performance tuning of servers hosted on GCP cloud. GCP/AWS cloud experience is preferred. Creates and maintains accurate documentation & Provides support to the SAP application team during development and implementation projects. Provides support for HA(High availability) & DR(disaster recovery). As required Configuration and set-up of printers. Able to present and interact with business process owners at Cardinal Health. Prepare necessary documentation for configuration, troubleshooting and ongoing projects in SAP landscape. Collaborate with SAP teams in the areas of development of new functionality or ramp-up initiative.

A minimum of 5 years of progressive SAP Basis Administration with Hana experience, including performing SAP implementations, upgrades and SAP EHP support pack projects. Experience with Upgrade, system build with SAP ERP/ECC environment. Experience with Build and upgrade with SAP HANA, ECC EHP8, S/4 2022 HANA, S4 Fiori, MDG, BW, PO, Portal, SCM/APO, CRM, Netweaver ADS, NWDI, Gateway, SLT. Understanding of SAP ABAP & Java systems environment is required. Experience with solution manager and OSS Experience with TMS (Transport Mgmt System) modules Knowledge of Linux/DB2 database administration preferred. Knowledge of good system management principles is preferred. General knowledge of other operating systems such as Windows, RHEL, Suse is preferred. Anticipated salary range: $94,900 - $135,600.
