Primary Purpose of Position: Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving supporting Power plant operations, acting as a resource and technical expert for engineers. Responsible for technical decisions, with excellent knowledge of industry codes and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses and programs. Provide technical expertise to identify and resolve equipment and system issues. Lead short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations. Perform engineering tasks applying engineering principles. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, adhering to standards and codes. Conduct research, reviews, studies, and analyses for technical projects. Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance and reduce costs. Perform site development engineering and project management for land development projects, including utilities, site layout, drainage, and permitting. Minimum Qualifications: BS in Engineering with 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 1 year as Engineer 3A. Completed relevant skills and knowledge development training. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to mentor other engineers. Professional Engineering License.
