Description CPH is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. We are seeking a senior-level Project Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative water/wastewater team in Miami !

The Engineer III - Water/Wastewater is responsible for leading the design, development, and the implementation of engineering projects. This role provides innovative solutions to solve any problems, and it requires the design skills, time management and experience to perform on a variety of Water/Wastewater and general public facility. The Project Engineer has a strong understanding of engineering principles to deliver high quality standards to CPH clients.
Duties Include Lead the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for projects.
Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Monitor progress of projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper completion.
Leading design and preparation of plans, specifications, and calculations for pipeline, lift station, and Water/Wastewater treatment, system components.
Work with senior staff to identify potential project risks and develop modification strategies if needed.
Ensures that all aspects of the project’s safety comply with regulations and quality standards.
Prepares and maintain project documentation, including reports, design changes, schedules, and status updates.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper managements and clients.
Requirements Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Familiarity with Deltek Vision, Smartsheet, or similar software platforms
Ability to effectively lead and inspire a team
Comfortable working and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to effectively multi-task while adhering to project schedules and budgets
Strict adherence to deadlines
Knowledge of codes and design and construction practices
Education and Experience: B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a P.E. license in the state of Florida
Minimum 5+ years of experience with municipal utilities, stormwater design, or water/wastewater treatment systems
Strong knowledge of engineering principals and industry standards as it relates to pipelines, lift stations, pumps, water lines, stormwater systems, and water/wastewater treatment facilities
