Position Overview Harris Energy Solutions, LLC (HES) is a nationwide Energy Consulting Services firm. HES offers a full suite of consulting services, including Building Energy modeling, Renewable Energy Consulting, Master Planning, Energy Audit, Building Commissioning, and Building Retro-Commissioning. We pride ourselves in the work we perform and the services we provide. HES is hiring an Energy Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities Perform Energy Modelling: Perform drawing reviews to identify applicable building components, compile data for inputs into building energy modeling software, and execute building modeling Perform ASHRAE Level I/II/III Energy Audits: Analyze utility bills and drawings to identify building energy consumption, conduct onsite energy audits of complex building systems, identify Energy Conservation Measures, perform energy savings and cost analyses for the project, generate technical report for deliverables to clients Perform Retro-Commissioning Studies: Analyze utility bills and drawings to identify building energy consumption, conduct onsite performance testing of complex building systems, identify Retro-Commissioning Measures, perform energy savings and cost analyses for projects, generate technical reports as deliverables to clients Perform Building Commissioning: Generate commissioning plan, perform design reviews of drawings, specifications, and submittals, create Pre-Functional and Functional Checksheets, conduct site visits to inspect construction progress, execute PFCs and FCs, generate systems manual/final commissioning reports Requirements Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities) 0-2 years of experience in the energy engineering field Experience with building energy modeling techniques Proficient in Microsoft Office Understanding of energy efficiency technologies, HVAC systems, and renewable systems Experience with large commercial and multi-family buildings preferred but not necessary.
