As a Senior Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer, you will lead complex electro-mechanical design projects for radiation monitoring systems, shaping design strategies and mentoring engineering teams. You will play a key role in ensuring product safety, quality, and compliance while driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities: Develop detailed electrical and mechanical schematics, drawings, and documentation using AutoCAD Electrical. Lead the development and review of advanced electrical and mechanical design documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and installation instructions. Oversee CAD workflow optimization and automation. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers. Drive compliance with nuclear industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance programs (ISO 9001, NQA-1). Collaborate with project managers, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Engage with customers and regulatory bodies as needed to support design approvals and audits. Identify and implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve product performance and reliability. Other duties as assigned

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. 7+ years of electro-mechanical design experience, ideally within nuclear or other highly regulated industries. Expert proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical Schematics, or comparable software. Deep understanding of electro-mechanical system design, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Proven leadership, mentoring, and project management skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
