Electro- Mechanical Design Engineer II

As a Mid-Level Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer, you will independently develop and manage electro-mechanical design projects for radiation monitoring systems (RMS). You will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver robust, compliant solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed electrical and electromechanical schematics, drawings, and documentation using AutoCAD Electrical.
Generate and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs), assembly instructions, and procurement documentation.
Lead CAD process enhancements and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Participate in cross-disciplinary design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Ensure design compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality systems (ISO 9001, NQA-1).
Support project management activities including schedule tracking and resource coordination.
Interface with suppliers and manufacturing to resolve design-related issues.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or related field.
3+ years of experience in electro-mechanical design, preferably in nuclear or regulated industries.
Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical Schematics, or equivalent software.
Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, wiring, control panels, and industry standards.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
