Principal Responsibilities Coordinate, oversee and manage projects ranging in size and complexity; Serve as the point of contact for teams and clients Collaborate with business development staff, Project Executives, Client Executives, and Market Directors/Leaders during the initial stages of project opportunities Assist Project Executives and Client Executives with design scopes of work and fee calculations for proposal generation as well as with contract reviews Create project schedules including targets for milestones and deadlines Create monthly billings and submit financial information to Accounting in a timely manner; Update billing projections and estimated completion percentage for all projects monthly Ensure design follows owner standards and requirements, standards and code requirements. Ensure design milestone deliverables are achieved, and client quality control processes are completed, and construction technical support occurs in a timely manner Collaborate with design staff and coordinate scheduling of projects during all phases of design and construction. Schedule and lead progress meetings and provide meeting documentation Participate in project interviews and project presentations Respond to and resolve client/construction concerns. Manage change orders and obtain appropriate approvals Train, mentor, and motivate staff Build, maintain, and develop client relationships
Required Skills/Abilities Demonstrated leadership traits in the Project Management career path Knowledge of Illumination Engineering Society (IES) Standards and reference material resources such as NFPA Link, TechStreet, MadCAD, and Facility Guideline Institution (FGI) Advanced proficiency of Master Specification editing and software such as eSPECS; Proficient with Adobe or Bluebeam Revu Ability to mentor, train, motivate, and lead others Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise Ability to sell work and develop client relationships Strong training and mentoring skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
Education and Experience Education and Experience 3+ years experience minimum Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, required This position is not eligible for sponsorship
