Electrical Engineer - Tomahawk Missile Functional Ground Test Support

Description: EHS Technologies Corporation currently has a need for a Part-Time Electrical Engineer supporting the Tomahawk Missile Functional Ground Testing at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC-IHD), Maryland.
Provide engineering support and services of Electronic Assemblies and Sub-Assemblies to support Naval Surface Warfare Center, IHD's Tomahawk Missile Functional Ground Test (FGT) capability. Work is located at Naval Surface Warfare Center – Indian Head, MD. Situational telework may be authorized. Most of the job will require on-site presence at NSWC-IHD.
Specific duties include: Providing electronic and electrical engineering expertise in data acquisition, providing electronic and electrical engineering support, providing engineering support in preparing test plans, presenting test readiness reviews, writing test reports, and conducting testing in accordance with approved SOPs and procedures.
Requirements:
-At least 20 years’ experience in testing missiles in a ground test environment. Specific knowledge of the Tomahawk cruise missile is preferred.
-Engineering knowledge of how to write test procedures, test plans, conduct test readiness reviews, and write test reports.
-Engineering knowledge in how to conduct testing in accordance with approved standard operating procedures (SOPs).
-Engineering knowledge in maintaining and supporting the ground test platform used for test firing Tomahawk cruise missiles.
-Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university is required.
-The candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
-The candidate must be able to obtain medical certification for working with explosives and must be willing to submit to random drug testing.
