LSSE Civil Engineers and Surveyors is looking for a Drinking Water/Wastewater Process Engineer to join our team. We are a 180+ person civil engineering and surveying consulting firm with over 10 locations primarily located in western Pennsylvania. LSSE’s projects support public infrastructure and community development. Our clients include local boroughs and townships, water and sewer authorities, industrial and residential land developers, and utility companies.
Qualifications:
10+ years’ experience in municipal drinking water and wastewater process design and related calculations
Degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, biological engineering, or other related degree
Required skills/knowledge: Thorough knowledge of drinking water and wastewater engineering process, design theory, principles, and application to treatment facility projects
Wastewater processes, modeling, and flow monitoring
Chemistry related to drinking water and wastewater treatment processes including calculations and data analyses
Project management
State and local laws, codes, and regulations related to permitting, construction, etc.
Drinking water or wastewater plant operations experience is a plus
EIT preferred at a minimum
