Drainage Engineer
Dewberry is seeking a Drainage Engineer in our Tampa, FL office to grow and strengthen our transportation design practice. This is an excellent career opportunity to join a nationally recognized multi-disciplined engineering firm providing planning and design services to the Florida Department of Transportation and municipal agencies throughout the state of Florida. Responsibilities
- Prepare drainage plans and reports for transportation projects
- Perform and collaborate on drainage analyses with other Drainage staff
- Train, mentor, and oversee the completion and accuracy of work performed by junior Drainage Department Staff
- Communicate effectively with internal team members, subconsultants, and clients
- Meet and build strong working relationships with clients and permitting agencies
- Assist with the development of marketing and project pursuit materials
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- 2+ years of relevant FDOT drainage design experience
- Florida EIT license preferred
- Experience with FDOT drainage design criteria
- Experience with permitting requirements of Florida Water Management Districts
- Strong desire to be a key contributor in an outstanding team of industry-leading professionals
