A Day in the Life
As a Dimensional Quality Assurance Engineer , your primary task will be designing and maintaining advanced measurement programs. You'll work with cutting-edge tools like CMM, ATOS Blue Light, and NX Unigraphics to create precision models, ensuring our products meet rigorous standards.
Responsibilities
Program Development: Craft sophisticated inspection programs in like Visual Basic and Python, transforming blueprints and CAD models into actionable data.
Ongoing Support: Troubleshoot and enhance existing programs to adapt to emerging needs.
Collaborative Precision: Partner with end-users to gather requirements and design enhancements for new or existing programs.
Data Management: Utilize Unigraphics for managing and manipulating electronic data, facilitating tool and scheme creation.
User Training: Educate end-users on application functionality.
Fulfill other tasks as they arise.
Skills Set Required
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical materials and crafting detailed reports and manuals.
Strong grounding in mathematics, including geometry, trigonometry, and statistical concepts.
Adept at problem-solving utilizing both concrete data and abstract thinking.
Your Path to Success
Associate's Degree in a technical domain or equivalent experience tracing back two years.
At least 5 years of related professional activity or training.
