As we evolve into a more digitally focused and health-conscious organization, we are expanding our team to include a passionate Digital Health Analytics Engineer who will drive the design and delivery of health and performance-related analytics solutions. Position Summary As a Remote Digital Health Analytics Engineer, you will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting digital health data to improve staff wellness, reduce workplace health risks, and support our internal health and safety operations. You'll develop dashboards, predictive models, and reporting tools to guide executive leadership in making data-informed decisions for employee health programs, wellness incentives, and operational risk reduction. This position is ideal for someone who combines a strong background in data analytics with a deep understanding of public health, wellness tech, or occupational safety within the hospitality or retail industry. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures for digital health data collection and processing. Analyze employee wellness data, including wearable data, survey feedback, health screenings, and absenteeism metrics. Design interactive dashboards and health performance scorecards for HR, Operations, and Executive teams. Collaborate with HR and Safety Teams to identify trends in employee health and provide insights for proactive risk mitigation. Integrate health data with operational data (e.g., staffing, scheduling, location data) to identify root causes of absenteeism or workplace fatigue. Ensure data privacy compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, and internal standards) across all analytics practices. Partner with tech teams to improve the integration of digital health tools (wearables, mobile apps, etc.) with internal systems. Use predictive analytics to flag potential workplace health concerns before they become widespread. Create reporting models to track ROI of wellness initiatives and programs. Stay current on trends in digital health technology and recommend innovative tools and methodologies. Required Qualifications Must reside in the United States and possess a valid U.S. government-issued ID. Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Public Health, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in health analytics, digital health, or employee wellness programs. Strong experience with Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and visualization. Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Familiarity with wearable health devices and integration of biometric data. Understanding of HIPAA compliance and best practices for handling health data. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects remotely. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with health and safety teams in hospitality, retail, or food services. Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning in health data. Certification in health informatics, data privacy, or occupational health is a plus.
