Top Secret/SCI DevSecOps Engineer

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies Warfare Systems partners with the Department of Defense (DoD) and defense innovation ecosystem to rapidly acquire and field critical and emerging technologies, particularly integrated communications, networking, and Systems-of-Systems (SoS) technologies, to enhance national security and warfighter capabilities. Through a multiagency contracting approach, the Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA) initiative focuses on advancing these technologies to achieve multi-domain battlespace integration and resilient command and control. This includes a broad range of services such as systems engineering, cybersecurity, operational integration, and data analytics, all aimed at modernizing communications and ensuring seamless information exchange for the DoD and its allies.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Leads the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Pipeline Management by selecting, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Ensures software maintenance for the deployed software product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Supports security integrations by embedding security practices into the development and deployment processes.
  • Implements monitoring and logging to ensure analysis of the software's performance and security.
  • Collaborates with development, operations, and security teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Ability to analyze system requirements and develop engineering specifications.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across engineering lifecycle phases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical documentation.

Preferred Requirements

  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like MagicDraw or Cameo.
  • Prior experience working with military or aerospace platforms.
  • Master's degree in a technical discipline is a plus.

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
