Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer
Job Description
As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and deploying applications on classified networks, implementing DevSecOps practices and critical security controls to meet Department of Defense accreditation standards. You will work closely with security managers and officials to ensure a secure microservice container architecture in a classified cloud environment. Responsibilities
Develop applications to be hosted on classified networks. Implement DevSecOps practices for software deployment. Implement critical security controls to meet accreditation standards for the Department of Defense. Provide hands-on support to deploy software on classified networks. Implement logging and monitoring solutions for debugging complex software systems. Collaborate with Information Systems Security Managers (ISSMs), Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), and Authorizing Officials (AOs) to accredit a microservice container architecture for classified cloud. Work with internal developer teams to ensure timely patching of software vulnerabilities and adherence to code security best practices. Essential Skills
5+ years of experience as a full stack software developer or site reliability engineer. Proficiency in React and Python. Experience with DevSecOps practices. Experience building with AWS architecture. Experience deploying code to classified infrastructure. Experience with Kubernetes. Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for obtaining an Authority to Operate (ATO). Minimum Secret clearance. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with TypeScript, React, and Node. Experience building applications that utilize Large Language Models (LLMs). Familiarity with Trivy, Sonarqube, Nessus scanning, Rancher. TS clearance with SCI Eligibility. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/yr. What we offer The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $215,000 + equity + 401K match.
