About the Role:
[Internal] Reality Labs is looking for a DevOps Integration Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable integrations across AR/VR and wearable devices, testing frameworks, and test lab network infrastructures. This role bridges network engineering and development, with a focus on automation, data collection, and operational tooling to support seamless device testing and continuous integration.

This role bridges network engineering and development, with a focus on automation, data collection, and operational tooling to support seamless device testing and continuous integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Deploy Integrations: Respond to integration requests across AR/VR devices, smartphones, and testing frameworks, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions.
Tooling & Automation: Build and maintain REST/API services and internal tools to automate network functionalities and system processes.
Data Collection & Metrics: Capture and analyze KPIs from lab networks and test environments to support engineering decisions.
Monitoring & Reporting: Implement network monitoring systems (e.g., IP SLA) and generate performance reports with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Unidash).
Database & Interface Management: Work with multiple database types (TSDB, NoSQL, SQL) and interfaces such as API, REST, and gRPC.
Documentation & Handoff: Create end-to-end solution documentation for handoffs and support, including training materials and operational guides.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in DevOps and network engineering, ideally with a 60/40 or 70/30 split of expertise across both.
Proficient in Python, Bash, and working with APIs.
Experience with network monitoring, automation, and data collection systems.
Familiarity with adb/idb interfaces and Android/iOS ecosystems.
Skilled in using data analysis tools and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau).
Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Excellent communication and documentation capabilities.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
