About the Position
The DevOps Infrastructure Engineer IV reports to the Sr. Director, Software Engineering of a 24x7 engineering group for a global business. As the primary advanced DevOps engineer, this role will demonstrate previous experience in DevOps, Operations, and Infrastructure for a complex web application. This role requires strategic technical skills, innovation and mentorship in the engineering team.
The candidate is skilled at navigating and excelling in varying QA and Production environments, accurately solutioning backup testing, ideation to implementation and deployment. Will be proactive, a fast learner, solutions oriented, independent, communicative, collaborative, a mentor and inspiring. Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for faster delivery.
Manage the development and production infrastructure and the controls and lifecycles that facilitate their ongoing health.
Manages and implements
Works with other engineers to improve day to day software operations and monitoring
Documents policies, practices, and processes related to the DevOps lifecycle.
Work with business and IT teams to obtain final requirements approval; ensure that architecture and systems meet emerging needs and can be easily adapted to support new business requirements; create testing plans, training initiatives, and release schedules.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software application issues in production environments. Serve as a liaison and facilitator between all business units to assist in addressing and resolving IT software issues.
Technical Skill Requirements:
Significant experience with both relational and unstructured data.
Experience developing both front-end and back-end web application components.
Experience with both operational data and (point in time) warehouse data and the development of data architectures, flows, ETL, etc...
Experience designing, implementing, and managing interconnected distributed systems.
Experience working with various pieces of DevOps (build, test, deploy) is a plus.
Foundational: Windows Server, .NET framework, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Team Services, C#, Microsoft Azure, Git, Application Insights
Identity/Authentication: SSO, SAML, WIF, OpenId Connect, Azure Active Directory
Data: SQL Server/SSIS, Mongo, Azure Storage
Front-end: HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Angular, Kendo
Back-end: Entity Framework, WebAPI (modern REST web services), Azure Service Bus, Azure App Services/ Websites/ Virtual Machines, BICEP/ARM Templates
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computing, information technology, or a related field; or significant volume of experience as a software engineer.
5-7 years of experience as DevOps Engineer.
Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
Development experience on a team using an agile development process.
Availability to work outside of standard business hours as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Comfortable working as part of a small team.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Ability to self-organize and juggle competing priorities.

The pay range for this position in Colorado, New York, Washington, and California is $142,000 - $192,000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
