Primary Skills: GCP (Expert), Kubernetes (Advanced), Airflow (Intermediate), Automation (Advanced), infrastructure as Code (Intermediate) Contract Type: W2 Only Duration: 12+ Months Location: Sunnyvale, CA Pay Range: $80 - $85 per hour on W2 Job Summary: We are seeking a DevOps GCP Engineer with a minimum of 5 years in engineering and profound experience in GCP architecture, positioned within a regulated domain. The role includes supporting mid-sized development teams and pioneering infrastructure as code for dynamic environments. Applicants must be local and have a comprehensive background in deploying and managing DevOps pipelines, with a keen eye for automating and enhancing infrastructural operations. Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain infrastructure automation and cloud integration utilizing infrastructure as code methodologies. Contribute to the development, execution, and support of Infrastructure release management and operations. Establish robust monitoring and infrastructure health reporting frameworks for the advancement of self-healing infrastructure principles. Collaborate in enhancing and extending the configuration, deployment, and monitoring framework with Site Reliability Engineers. Provide specialized support for the GCP cloud environment, interacting with internal teams to refine requirements and document architectures.
Must Have Skills:
Proven expertise in GCP and cloud environments. Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies. Proficiency with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, CircleCI, Git).
