The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge in Linux systems administration, and a background in Big Data solutions, configuration management, automation, scripting, containers, and AWS. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our services. This role is primarily based on-site in Augusta, GA, with occasional travel within the U.S. and internationally. Essential Job Responsibilities Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS Support non-cloud (Edge) infrastructure of on-premise and portable equipment Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into infrastructure Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues Continuously improve processes and tools for high availability and performance Stay current with new technologies and industry trends Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications Security Clearance - Current TS/SCI level U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required 9+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development with a Bachelors degree in related field; or 7 years relevant experience with a Masters; or 13 years relevant experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and troubleshooting Proficient in configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) Experience with application and OS deployment, scaling, and management Ability to develop in multiple programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go Familiarity with Git and development tools Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Understanding of AGILE methodologies and software development tools Must have DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications (e.g., Security+) and environment cert (e.g., BDP System Admin) Willingness to travel OCONUS and CONUS 10% Ability to work on-site in Augusta, GA 5 days a week with flexibility for schedule changes

Preferred Requirements Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Hive, etc. Experience with containers (EKS, Diode), CI/CD, and Terraform
