Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for ensuring DevOps systems reliability, availability, and restoring systems to steady state quickly. Your role includes cultivating automation initiatives, scripting, transforming DevOps tools, and ensuring automation through self-service channels. You will maintain all DevOps enterprise toolsets, perform OS patching, upgrade tools versions, and renew certificates. Additionally, you will foster an enterprise monitoring culture, adhering to SRE principles to identify and remediate issues before SLA, SLI, and SLO violations occur. The ideal candidate will be a technically savvy, dynamic leader, an excellent communicator, with hands-on support experience in DevOps toolsets, strong infrastructure knowledge, and automation expertise.
As part of a cross-functional product development team, you should be comfortable working with highly talented teams, utilizing modern technology and processes.
We’re looking for a hands-on engineer who will be:
MUST have deep hands-on knowledge and experience in supporting and operating DevOps toolchains
Ensure all DevOps tools have 100% uptime, maintaining high application reliability and resiliency
Support and maintain full-stack DevOps toolsets (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, xRay)
Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and fix issues related to DevOps platforms
Establish enterprise monitoring capabilities for DevOps tools
Possess deep technical knowledge in debugging, troubleshooting Jenkins groovy scripts, pipelines, Bitbucket, SonarQube, etc.
Code, script, and automate DevOps processes to enhance automation, reducing manual and repetitive tasks
Support OS and DevOps application patching activities
Remediate infrastructure issues such as Control-M jobs, backup jobs, BMC alerts, schedulers, cron jobs, shell scripts
MUST have automation experience with server-side Unix/Linux shell scripting
Collaborate with vendors for technical support, upgrades of DevOps tools, etc.
Configure server-side components like SSO, SSL, Load Balancer, Auto Scaling, and DNS
Requirements:
Knowledge of DevOps tools and platforms
Hands-on experience with DAST tools like HCL AppScan
Deep technical expertise in Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
Experience with Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, xRay
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in these platforms and related groovy scripts
Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Strong automation skills with groovy scripts and Unix/Linux shell scripting
Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and patching CI/CD toolsets
Ability to support off-hours, weekend, and holiday support
Ability to meet SLA requirements for DevOps platform uptime and support pipelines
Should:

Design strategies and execute them effectively
Manage complex project delivery by breaking down into smaller, manageable deliveries
Benchmark industry-standard tools and implement them in a banking environment
