Job Details: Our organization is seeking a dynamic and innovative Design Engineer with expertise in Catia for a permanent position. The ideal candidate will be a key player in our manufacturing team, contributing to the design and development of our cutting-edge products. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment where creativity, innovation, and technical excellence are highly valued. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects and will play a critical role in taking our designs from concept to production.
Responsibilities: 1. Utilize Catia to create and revise 3D models and 2D drawings of components and assemblies. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet requirements and standards. 3. Conduct design reviews, provide technical advice, and make recommendations for design improvements. 4. Participate in the development of new products and modifications of existing products. 5. Ensure all designs adhere to company standards, industry regulations, and best practices. 6. Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards. 7. Provide support for production issues and implement design changes to improve product performance and manufacturability. 8. Utilize PLM and Windchill to manage product data and documentation. 9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new design methodologies and tools.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Design Engineering role in the manufacturing industry. 3. Proficient in Catia V5 or V6 with experience in 3D modeling and 2D drafting. 4. Experience with PLM and Windchill for product data management. 5. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability. 6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and creatively. 7. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical team members. 8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 9. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. 10. Proven track record of taking designs from concept to production.
