We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain reliable data infrastructure and pipelines that support data analytics and business intelligence functions. You will be responsible for managing large datasets, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring data quality, availability, and scalability across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines to process structured and unstructured data
Integrate data from various sources, including APIs, databases, and third-party platforms
Optimize data systems for performance, reliability, and scalability
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to support data needs
Build and manage data warehouses or data lakes (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, S3)
Implement and enforce data governance and data quality best practices
Monitor pipeline performance and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and systems
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-related role
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)
Experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi, dbt)
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
Familiarity with big data tools and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Understanding of data architecture, modeling, and warehousing concepts
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in a relevant field
Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Docker)
Familiarity with real-time data processing
Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and Git-based version control systems
Experience working in agile teams or remote work environments
