Data Engineer

We're looking for two skilled Senior Data Engineers to join a high-impact project migrating workloads from a Hadoop On-Prem cluster to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. Rate: $65 - $75 / hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Build Spark/BigQuery data pipelines on GCP Dataproc
• Design data models and schemas to meet business needs
• Implement automated data quality checks
• Optimize performance & ensure SLA compliance
• Collaborate across a global team (U.S. + India)

Experience Requirements

Top Requirements:

• 1+ year GCP / BigQuery experience
• 3+ years Python or Scala
• 3+ years strong SQL skills

Bonus Points For:

• Experience building semantic layers in LookML
• GCP Certification
• Masters degree in a related field

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
