Data Engineer

: To support the development, stability, and scalability of the Hair Pro NA Data & Analytics Platform, this role will provide hands-on expertise in platform infrastructure, data engineering best practices, and data governance.
This position is critical to ensure continuous availability, performance, and integrity of data services across ongoing and upcoming initiatives. Responsibilities: Platform Infrastructure & DevOps: Build and maintain secure code repositories (, Git) for version control and collaboration. Design and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated, consistent deployments. Standardize integration and ingestion processes for internal and external data sources. Develop custom workflows to support cross-project data orchestration and job dependencies.
Data Governance & Quality: Define and implement consistent data modeling practices across projects. Build reusable, scalable data-loading templates and ingestion frameworks. Deploy real-time monitoring and alerting for pipeline performance and failure resolution. Enforce data quality validations, logging, and user access control aligned with governance policies.
Innovation & Optimization: Stay current with developments in the Client Data Platform and recommend applicable enhancements. Continuously improve performance through tuning, cost optimization, and infrastructure refinement. Requirements: Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, data pipelines, and orchestration tools.
Strong background in data modeling, pipeline design, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with HDP, Databricks, and enterprise data governance practices preferred. Education: + years in data engineering, with hands-on experience in Azure Data Services and DevOps.
