Data Analytics Engineer

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Data Analytics Engineer for a contract position in Culver City, CA. The opportunity will be four months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Requires solid-level SQL skills (-+ years) and Python (-+ yrs) to profile data out of a new environment Perform operational data stewardship tasks as needed, including manual checks of data against source systems where appropriate Test cases based on product specs and/or requirements gathered from the team Trace and debug data quality issues to the root cause Run test cases for in-development projects Run regression test cases and data quality checks on live data products Perform operational data stewardship tasks as needed, including manual checks of data against source systems where appropriate Background in data engineering or analytics engineering is a plus
