Job Opening: Data Engineer (ETL, Power BI, Python, &SQL )
Locations:  Pittsburgh PA (Hybrid role / 4-days/week Onsite) / Candidates open to relocation are welcome to apply
Duration: 06+ Months (Possible Extension) | Contract to FTE
Job Description:
At least 3 years experience using PowerBI desktop/service, building data models, formulating Dax queries
Data management experience. Writing complex SQL queries
Experience in building or maintaining ETL processes
Clear understanding of production cycle
Ability to document project work effectively through confluence and Jira
Analytical and problem-solving skills essential
Comfortable in collaborating with key stakeholders through lifecycle of projects
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python preferred
Experience with Gitlab, snowflake, Splunk, Tableau preferred
Additional Notes:
Pittsburgh, PA Hybrid-4 days are required to be in the office per week
Data Product Team
Looking for Data Engineers kind people with some project mgmt. Understanding
ETL  experience and proficient with Python programming
Strong expert in SQL
BI reporting: use Power BI
UI is Power BI, min 3 years with power BI dev , dashboards, syntax, complex queries, data models, formulating Dax queries
some exp in project mgmt., document mgmt. And agile exp
Experience in Jira and confluence
Production lifecycle mgmt. Experience
strong communication, stakeholder mgmt.
snowflake exp is preferred not essential
Splunk is not essential
Any certification on ETL, power BI is a plus
will be fine with senior people as they need to work independently.
