Job Title: Data Engineer Sr Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Summary: The main function is to develop and implement data solutions for data platforms.
Job Responsibilities: • Coordinate the collection, normalization and analysis of datasets across multiple data platforms. • Assist in designing and building data service infrastructure across multiple data platforms. • Work with analytics teams to ensure functionality in data systems. • Participate in the development of and implementation of data solutions for multiple applications to ensure scalability and maintainability. • Design and implement process improvements including automation of processes and redesign of data infrastructure.
Skills: • Strong knowledge of database technologies. • Knowledge of one or more scripting languages. • Ability to work independently and manage ones time. • Excellent communication and facilitation skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment. • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Education/Experience: • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required • 5-7 years experience
Days of the week: M-F Working Hours (Flexible): Function of the Group: Combination of mitigating risk and cost reduction Initiatives/Projects: involved in technology reports across multiple areas across bank Industry background: Data technology and analytics Team Dynamic: 4 teams of approx 20 people from beginner to advanced in terms of data analytics
