What you'll be doing
Organizes, interprets, and analyzes more complex data across their area of responsibility to support business and corporate strategic goals.
Familiarity with several programming languages and knowledge of learning machine methods commonly used in data science applications
Build or support creation of data models and pipelines
Evaluate business needs and objectives of our users, assist in project scoping.
Help prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.
Combine raw and provisioned information from different data sources.
Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability and develop procedures to implement improvements.
Identify opportunities for data acquisition across Lincoln’s systems.
Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists and architects on simple to complex projects.
Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Maintains an understanding of how the data contained in the various systems are utilized, and is able to triangulate various aspects of the data into a usable format to support decision making.
Serves as a resource to advise management & business stakeholders on use of quality business analytics, tools, and methods to improve efficiency, accuracy, and interpretation of various business metrics.
What we’re looking for
Must-Have Experience (Required):
4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Data Engineering (Minimum Required)
1 - 3+ Years of data engineering experience, which can include internships while completing a degree.
Working knowledge of AWS services EKS, EC2, S3, Cloudwatch and others
Working knowledge of code based CICD ETL programs using Gitlab with AWS
Foundational knowledge of Dataiku or similar Data Science Modelling and Automation Platforms
Foundational knowledge of visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
Foundational knowledge of various languages like SQL and Python
Working knowledge of API service integrations

The pay range for this position is $69,000 - $124,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
