Our client is seeking a full-time Controls Professional Engineer in Lewisville, TX, to design electrical automation and control systems that meet customer objectives while adhering to codes, industry standards, and specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients and engineering firms to gather design requirements.

- Conduct site visits to verify drawings and assess obstacles.

- Work with Designers to create site plans and preliminary designs for cost estimates.

- Oversee Engineers-In-Training and Designers and certify drawings.

- Propose equipment options and evaluate vendors.

- Develop network topologies and design control panels.

- Resolve conflicts with clients regarding safety and change orders.

- Manage 4 to 5 projects simultaneously.

- Sign and seal customer deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

- 5 years' experience in designing control panels

- Professional Engineering License

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent industrial controls experience

- Proficiency in PLC programming using Allen Bradley RSLogix or other PLC software

- Expert knowledge of PLC logic and controls, and working knowledge of HMIs

- Experience with complex integrated systems

- Advanced skills in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Visio

Preferred Qualifications:

- 7 years of experience in automation and controls
