Controls Engineer

: Join an engineering team dedicated to developing real‑time automation solutions from the plant floor through enterprise systems. You’ll leverage a broad toolset—PLC/PAC programming, HMI/SCADA design, network and database architecture, vision systems, machine safety, motion control, and high‑level software development—to drive operational efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, program, debug, test, and commission real‑time control and information solutions
Collaborate on concept development during all project lifecycle phases
Produce detailed engineering documentation (traceability matrices, case studies, project notes)
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Develop methodologies for complex problem solving and share best practices
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of learning
Technologies & Tools:
PLC Platforms: Beckhoff, B&R Automation, PLCNext, CODESYS, Schneider
HMI/SCADA: Beckhoff, Inductive Automation (Ignition)
Networking: Ethernet, Routing & Switching, ADS, Modbus, MQTT, OPC UA, TCP/IP
Vision Systems: Cognex, Keyence, ROS, Halcon
High‑Level Languages: IEC 61131‑3, C#, HTML5, Python, C++
Databases: MS SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, InfluxDB
OS: Windows 10+, Linux, FreeBSD
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or related field—or equivalent experience
1–3 years of hands‑on experience with one or more of the technologies listed above
Strong proficiency in text‑based programming and object‑oriented design
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to follow established models and develop new methodologies
Self‑starter who thrives in team environments and actively seeks learning opportunities
Detail‑oriented, conscientious, and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
