The Controls Engineer Team Lead will be required to work on projects ranging from basic control panels to controls for complete safety and automation systems through all phases of the project, including conceptualization, estimate, design, integration, installation, and implementation. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the electrical controls field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Additionally, they will lend technical support to other areas of the business: Customer Service, Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Service and Repair. Reports to the Engineering Manager. This position will be on-site every day in Bensalem.

Work with Team Leads when a project needs to move between groups Coordinate with engineering manager and team leads to set priorities Assign projects for members within the team and coordinate this work with other teams within the department. Monitor the workload of team members. Assist in the handling of day-to-day issues. Escalate to the Engineering Manager as required. Assist the Engineering Manager in departmental planning. Assist the Engineering Manager in developmental planning for team members. Provide the Engineering Manager with feedback for performance reviews. Technical design and review of control schematics, drawings, and other Engineering documents relative to the design and fabrication of systems Design and develop new control systems or modify existing systems Work collaboratively with sales, operations, purchasing, engineering, and production Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, and relevant authorities Understand and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards of the country in which work is undertaken Follow and contribute to the improvement of Departmental processes and procedures, Assist Sales Application Engineers by providing timely estimates and quotes Project Manage small to midsize safety and automation projects from conception to start-up within cost and time constraints Generate wiring diagrams and panel layouts utilizing AutoCad Electric Write computer software and perform PLC and HMI programming Assist with installations, start-ups, troubleshooting, and problem-solving Maintain project files on our network Accept responsibility and a level of accountability commensurate with the position Mentoring and training of other Fluid Systems Engineers Provide product training as required Other Engineering functions as needed Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Safety, or a related field, or a minimum of eight years of experience in a fast-paced Integration Engineering environment. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Ability to develop innovative concepts for turn-key safety automation and conveyor systems Strong Controls application experience utilizing PLC's, HMIs Experience with Omron, Phoenix, and Rexroth Control X plus.
