Job Title : Complete Seat Engineer Salary 123K plus 5K Relocation Location : Irvine, CA (14600 Myford Rd, Irvine, CA) Duration: Fulltime

Responsibilities Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience from Seating Tier-1 company or automotive OEM Hands experience in automotive seat system and seat components e.g., Foam, trim, Plastic Experience from OEM, Adient, Lear, and Magna Ability to design Seat structure including cushion frame, back frame and mechanisms Working knowledge of regulatory and certification requirements for seating system Maintain and develop Design Validation Plans (DVP), and Design Failure Mode Analysis (DFMEA) Good knowledge of seating system manufacturing processes e.g. Stamping, Foaming, Welding, Create seating layouts, BOM and manage product issues during development Focus on design improvement approaches including cost reduction and design optimization Interpret CAE simulation results and integrate recommendations into product design Collaborate with seat part suppliers and support overall vehicle development milestones and prototype/production build events Experience in creating 3D designs and 2D drawings (e.g. CATIA V6 only
