We’re looking for a Technical Coatings Engineer with a deep knowledge of Understanding in Automotive Coatings (wash, rinse, e-coat, paint).

We are a well-established Tier 1 Automotive Supplier of Exterior and Interior Automotive Stampings and Assemblies

???? Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding of Coatings and Applications for Stamped Steel Parts
• Lead New Product / Project Programs for Stamped Metal Parts
• Collaborate with Customers, Production and Engineering Teams
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and Determine Effective Counter Measures
• Support Prototype Builds and Program Launches
• Champion New Equipment Installations for Technical Assembly
• Knowledge of Fanuc Robots or Robotics is a Plus!
• Help Advise New Program Launches
• Assign work to Junior Engineers and Track Progress
• Manage Overall Project Goals and KPI’s
• Maintain Program Budget’s
• Must have Excellent Reporting Capability and Methodology

✅ Requirements:

• Automotive experience Preferred with (PPAP, APQP, AIAG, Stamping Die’s), understanding of TS16949
• Bachelor’s degree with 1 -3 years in Automotive Coatings / Chemical Engineering
• Strong Communication, Analysis, and Problem-Solving Skills
• CAD/SolidWorks, MS Project
• Knowledge and Ability to Make Quick Decisions
• BS in Chemical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or Equivalent
