We're looking for a Technical Coatings Engineer with a deep knowledge of Understanding in Automotive Coatings (wash, rinse, e-coat, paint).

We are a well-established Tier 1 Automotive Supplier of Exterior and Interior Automotive Stampings and Assemblies

Key Responsibilities:

Understanding of Coatings and Applications for Stamped Steel Parts
Lead New Product / Project Programs for Stamped Metal Parts
Collaborate with Customers, Production and Engineering Teams
Conduct Root Cause Analysis and Determine Effective Counter Measures
Support Prototype Builds and Program Launches
Champion New Equipment Installations for Technical Assembly
Knowledge of Fanuc Robots or Robotics is a Plus!
Help Advise New Program Launches
Assign work to Junior Engineers and Track Progress
Manage Overall Project Goals and KPI's
Maintain Program Budget's
Must have Excellent Reporting Capability and Methodology

Requirements:

Automotive experience Preferred with (PPAP, APQP, AIAG, Stamping Die's), understanding of TS16949
Bachelor's degree with 1 -3 years in Automotive Coatings / Chemical Engineering
Strong Communication, Analysis, and Problem-Solving Skills
CAD/SolidWorks, MS Project
Knowledge and Ability to Make Quick Decisions
BS in Chemical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or Equivalent
