Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Software Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cloud technologies and DevSecOps methodologies, playing a pivotal role in integrating advanced security solutions into cloud infrastructure management. This role requires proficiency in Python, with a focus on monitoring, observability, and automation, supported by a solid cloud security background. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement security product integrations to protect cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient, secure software delivery. Establish and maintain robust security and monitoring coverage; identify and automate gaps in existing processes. Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and threat detection to safeguard environments. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of security solutions.
Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in cloud security and DevSecOps. In-depth expertise in at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) — GCP preferred. Strong knowledge of Landing Zones, Terraform provisioning, and cloud-native security controls. Solid understanding of Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE), Helm charts, and GitOps practices (FluxCD preferred). Proficiency in CI/CD technologies and pipelines. Deep understanding of network security concepts (firewalls, proxies). Strong programming/scripting skills for automation (Python and/or Go). Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, including the capability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Cloud security-specific certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate). Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP). Experience working in Agile development environments.
